Description
In Hangman, player 1 thinks of a word or a short phrase.
For this example, the phrase is “I Love Apple Pie”
Player 2 needs to figure out what the phrase is by
guessing letters.
When player 2 guesses a correct letter, player 1 fills in the letter and crosses it out where all the letters are shown.
When player 2 guesses a wrong letter, the hanging man is drawn, one part at time for each wrong letter.
The hanging man has the rope, face, neck, two arms, torso, and two legs to be drawn in.
Player 1 wins if all the hanging man parts are drawn in before player 2 guesses the whole phrase.
Player 2 wins if they guess the phrase (or correctly guess all letters) before all the hanging man parts are drawn.
The game starts with the gallows in place and the alphabet letters.

Player 2 guesses “T” Since there are none, player 1 adds the rope to the gallows.

Player 2 guesses “E” Since there are some, the letters are filled in.

Player 2 guesses “R” Since there are none, player 1 adds the face to the hanging man.

Player 2 guesses “A” Since there is one, the letter is filled in.

Player 2 guesses “S” Since there are none, player 1 adds the neck to the hanging man.

Player 2 guesses “P” Since there are some, the letters are filled in.

Player 2 guesses “W” Since there are none, player 1 adds an arm to the hanging man.

The game continues until either all the parts are drawn, or the phrase is guess or all letters are filled in.
Here are the two outcomes:
